2009 Volnay 1er Cru Les Taillepieds, Domaine de Montille
Made with 100% whole cluster fruit, which gives this a highly attractive sappy nature. A little more reserved on the nose and very deep for Volnay, this shows a lovely freshness and vitality. Made with minimal intervention, there is great purity to the dark fruit nature. An absolutely outstanding wine.
