stretches up the hill behind the family house. The Clos is a monopole
(exclusivity) of the domaine and what a dazzling gem this is! Compared to the
Caillerets, Clos des Ducs is meatier and more powerful with grippier tannins
but the luxurious nature of the appellation's wines remains. This is tour de
force Volnay that delivers every facet of Pinot Noir in its most enthralling form.
