Georges Cordier, the grandfather of the current owners, loved white wines. He was one of the first to replant white vines in Médoc, and crafted Caillou Blanc, which takes its name from the white pebbles in the vineyard. It’s a blend of Sauvignon Blanc with a dash of Semillon.
