Intense and rich on the nose, with candied tropical fruit, honey and subtle notes of smoke and white flowers. On the palate this is incredibly balanced with rich, appealing, almost caramelised fruit characters supported by an attractive minerality and a lively, fresh finish. This has been a very good year for Sauternes and Barsac and this excellent Yquem leads the way. Beautiful.
