This is head and shoulders above most, if not all other Péssac-Léognans (Haut-Brion Blanc and Laville aside). 2006 Chevalier expresses itself beautifully with a rush of vivacious citrus on the nose. The palate is alive with grapefruit and lemon nuances and mineral freshness and vitality. Simply gorgeous, this should not be missed.
