The 2015 Montaiguillon is a drop-dead-gorgeous beauty. Ripe fruits - blackcurrents and plums - are gloriously supported by notes of graphite, violets and balsamic. There's a silky texture, and enough acidity to keep it focussed and pure. Long and polished, it's a wine that could pass for many times the price. The best Montaiguillon ever.
