Lalande-de-Pomerol may typically be known for slightly unsophisticated wines, but in the hands of one of Bordeaux's best winemakers the results can be spectacular. This superb wine has finely grained tannins, pure, crunchy fruit and precise acidity. Elegant and finessed, it's already delicious. But there's even more potential there for aging. A stunning wine that would not look out of place just across the border, in the heart of Pomerol.
