Ignore the Cotes de Bourg appellation and focus on the beautifully crafted wine in the bottle which is similarly styled to the owner’s superb St Emilion Le Tertre Rôteboeuf. The nose is highly scented and perfumed with notes of blackcurrant, cherry and violets. The palate is fresh, elegant, pure and intensely flavoured. It is complex, textured and long and is a wonderful wine.
