Tasted in a room full of its Pessac-Léognan peers Domaine de Chevalier was the standout wine. Scented, ripe fruit aromas lead to a textured palate of volume and weight. The tannins are well judged and balanced to the overall style of this deftly handled and delicious wine. A notable success in 2013 from a château with a sensible and realistic pricing policy.
