The recent renovation of second growth Cos d’Estournel has spawned an exemplarily, no-expense-spared winery which relies exclusively on gravity to move the must around. This year’s produce is classic St-Estèphe – a slightly sexy style with sweet, oaked fruit on the nose and a very engaging palate. Firm tannins, fleshy acidity; delicious.
