Traditionally one of the longest-lived and most muscular wines from Moulis-en-Médoc, Château Poujeaux does not fail to impress in 2011. Very brooding and dark on the nose, it is unashamedly dense and powerful, with hints of crushed blackcurrants with leather and cigar tobacco notes. The big tannic structure is the perfect introduction for this wine that builds up on the long and ample finish. This is a very masculine and traditional claret.
