Incredibly perfumed, with peppery notes, lusciously ripe blackberries and a hint of a fresh herbaceous quality, this wine was instantly impressive. The palate did not disappoint: seductive and mouthwatering, it showed a very complex, layered mid-palate that moved seamlessly from the cassis core to peppery notes and onto a truffley finish. Altogether a stunning effort with a massive finish and perfect balance.
