2009 Château Rauzan-Ségla, Cru Classé Margaux

2009 Château Rauzan-Ségla, Cru Classé Margaux

The rise of Chateau Rauzan-Ségla under Chanel ownership and investment continues unabated. Although the colour is deep, the nose is light and fragrant, with more black cherry fruit to the fore. The palate has real density and fresh acidity to define it. Intense and concentrated, the tannins have been beautifully managed to provide the structure, but not to overwhelm. This has a very long finish and is another strong wine from Margaux.
