2008 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Cru Classé Pauillac

2008 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Cru Classé Pauillac

Attractive sweet fruit on the nose, perfumed cassis with a cool, ripe nature. A wealth of deep berry fruit expands on the palate, with a creamy, silky, glossy texture. This is all underpinned by a firm minerality. Good substance and precision. Mid-weight, earlier drinking style of GPL, with a lovely cedary touch on the long, fine finish. Robert Parker: 89-91+
