Classic claret from a vintage that is coming into its own. Blackcurrant notes on the nose are combined with hints of cedarwood and a subtle smoky spiciness. The palate has plenty of ripe hedgerow fruit, edged with savoury leather and liquorice and framed by fine, ripe tannins.
