This is perfectly drinking claret, from a great vintage, and released direct from the Château's cellars. There's still a core of bright, ripe fruit, but with all those developed elements you'd expect from aged Right Bank Bordeaux: clove, leather, dried fruit and store cupboard spice. Impressively long for a wine of this price, it's what ageing Bordeaux's all about.
