Similar in appearance to the Carruades, the aromas lean more towardssoft-skinned hedgerow fruits. There is an opulent, gentle, mouthfillingcharacter; a good core of firm black fruit. A seamless quality is apparenton the palate, with greater density that one might normally expect.Impressive structure and balance; each new vintage seems to represent astride forwards. Minerally, gravelly, classic pauillac nuances linger on thefinish. A gorgeous Duhart that is very highly recommended.
