The fragrance of Chevalier is of ripe summer fruits with gentle creamy nuances. The palate is finely poised and suave with a finely-expressed, freshly crushed berry character allied to minerality. Tannins are silky yet firm and the textural expression most impressive. All in all a natural, flowing bordeaux with no harsh edges. Pure and harmonious from beginning to end. Absolutely lovely and surely the finest Chevalier for many, many years.
