Jean-Michel Cazes' team confidently handled both vineyard and fruit at Lynch-Bages in 2003, a vintage which has produced an outstanding example of rich, fine pauillac. The entry in the mouth is one of suppleness and richness, but supported by a firm direction of both fruit and tannins in the mid-palate. Finishes with tremendous structure. A very fine, classy wine.
