2002 is a vintage made for this château. Veronique Saunders is categorically against interference in her wine-making and whilst some of her neighbours were tempted to over extract the already harsh tannins of the vintage, Veronique aided and abetted her wine to make a lovely style full of freshness and purity. The characteristically grainy Cabernet tannins give this top class wine a real complexity and length.
