This is only the third vintage the house has declared since 2000. 2011 is a truly remarkable vintage and offers intensity, depth and a real immense concentration, combined with sheer elegance, refinement and a pure minerality. A heady and alluring fragrance of violets and exotic spice. The palate has an immense core of red cherries, plums and chocolate, with minerality running through, guiding the acidity round the fruit and entwining with the layers of silky tannins. Perfectly balanced and with huge length, this will last for decades.
