The Symingtons report that 2007 was an exceptional year for Touriga Nacional which comprises 50% of the Dow blend. Almost black in colour, 2007 Dow parades a stunning aroma of dark cherries and blackcurrants together with notes of Asian spices. Characteristically, revealing a drier end palate than some, together with luscious richness, concentration and intensity. Traditionally a firm favourite of Lay & Wheeler customers.
