Monte Bello is one of the great Bordeaux blends of the world. From altitude, and planted on limestone, it's one of the freshest expressions of Cabernet you'll find in California, even in a warm vintage like 2018. Eric Baugher, the winemaker, has managed extractions in 2018 to avoid an over-ripe wine, and is overjoyed with the expressive character of the fruit. It's sure to be another legend from this amazing estate.
