Usually, the Bin 28 is made predominantly with Barossa fruit, but in this warm year McLaren Vale provides some necessary savoury, black olive notes to balance the rich, intense, ripe black fruit from Barossa. Broad tannins and a chocolatey, mouth-coating texture with vanilla and coconut flavours of American oak make this suitable to drink now and it could cellar for 15 years comfortably.
