Very serious and dark fruit on the nose, with classic Cabernet cassis notes and a touch of crushed stone minerals and smoke. The palate is led by crunchy blackcurrant characters, framed by a taut, tight tannic structure and a mouth-watering acidity. Touches of woodsmoke, spice and just the merest hint of eucalyptus add depth and a complexity that carries through onto the long, fresh finish.
