2018 Pedra a Pedra Tinto, Quinta da Pedra Alta, Douro
This portuguese blend made up of predominately Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barocca is accessible and delicious with lots of fruit and spice on the nose and palate. Ripe red berry and cherry fruits are supported by liquorice and clove spice, with subtle bacon soke notes. There is a juiciness and vibrancy on the palate as well as firm but integrated tannins.
