1998 Barolo Rocche Falletto Serralunga Giacosa
Expressive on the nose, with hints of storecupboard spice and dark berry fruit. On the palate, this is rich and ripe, with soft black fruit characters and massive, although finely realised, tannins. Supremely balanced, with a touch of minerality, this is a lovely wine from a wonderful producer.
