Quite closed on the nose, but it reminds Gianluca of ‘12. Nice notes of violets and dark fruit, slight cured meat, there’s volume here, and lovely tannins, but that sweetness of fruit remains. Lovely tension, with deep fruit and mouth watering finish. Lovely density, too, here. Really nice fruit and energy.
