Elio Grasso has an enviable reputation for his great Baroli but his entry level Nebbiolo is too good to be overlooked. Sourced from a separate 1.2 hectare vineyard, the wine is given a stainless steel fermentation and then matured in bottle. The absence of any wood allows for a very pure, expressive style with lovely red fruit notes on the nose. Excellent choice of wine for the winter months.
