The 2013 Il Poggione was a standout of our 2017 Italy tasting, evidenced by the constant throng of customers around their table. 2013 will be a vintage noted for its elegance, although this wine packs a fair amount of Brunello power too. Pure fruit, spice and a structure that suggests it will age beautifully, this is another stunning effort from the Franceschi family.
