As a Cru, Ravera has really risen up the ranks in the last 5 years. Much of that is due to the work of Cogno, so this wine is now recognised as a benchmark. Exotic spices and wild strawberries fuse on the nose, the palate has huge depth and a lacy structure from those limestone rich soils. Valter attributes more and more value clones; this has 40% ‘Michet’ of Ca d'Morrisio fame.
