The 2010 Loreto has a brooding, dark core of blackcurrent, blueberry, black cherry, with a smooth, supple, plush, hedonistic texture. The tannis quickly build; the structure is dense, serious and very masculine. Less elegant at this stage than the ’09, but as the minerality and cherry coated tannins linger on the palate you are left reflecting on this wine’s incredible potential.
