Ovello is the best wine at this estate in my mind, although the critics tend to prefer Albesani. With air the aromatics explode into fresh red fruit, crushed white stones and anise. The palate has great tension and a core of bramble fruit. Rather more linear than Albesani, this will require more time in the cellar.
