Located in Albesani with an ideal south-west facing exposure, the Borgese is characteristically elegant, almost Burgundy-like in weight, with light red fruit and earthy complexity and hints of sweet spice from the gentle use of oak. Some nice grippy tannins are present but with good ripeness; this is already showing really well.
