This is a lovely, transparent, delicate colour and has beguiling nose of crushed rose petal, red cherries and exotic spices. The palate has amazing intensity and freshness, but at this early stage you really have to think about it to understand the potential here. Mauro re-iterates the importance of the pure limestone base of this amazing single vineyard wine. Tasted alongside 2007 I would buy 2008 every time.
