Vines of almost 35 years old can be found in this one hectare monopole, the fruit imparting an attractively complex nose of crushed strawberries and violets, with a note of herbal bitters. Leaner and more focused than the 2009 that we tasted alongside, this has a palate reminiscent of blue fruits and black coffee, carrying through to a long finish.
