2004 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Palazzo Vecchio
The colour is deep and the nose ripe and rich with black cherries, plums and herbs to the fore.Very ripe and rich on the palate too, with all-enveloping soft tannins interwoven into the deep fruit.The wine has good structure and lovely balance and it is this that makes it so appealing now - however, this vino nobile will definitely repay cellaring.
