The archetypal red wine of Spain comes from the northern region of Rioja, produced from the early-ripening Tempranillo grape. And a Rioja with our name had to be extraordinary. Deep in the renowned cellars of La Rioja Alta, we discovered a wine made from selected old vines, reserved for special releases. With one sip, we knew we’d found the one. And we convinced them to let us take every barrel.

Lots of (good) American oak and confident savoury fruit. Ideally needs a little bit more ageing but fine wine.
