A rarity even in Rioja and now acquiring cult status. Initially restrained but with focused blueberry and a touch of white pepper. After a little time in the glass it reveals incredible concentration of cool, ripe fruit with pepper and spice and a dense balsamic nose. The midpalate is typified by lovely crunchy fruit; black plums and notes of dark chocolate. The tannins are very fine with well-balanced acidity.
