The estate owns just a half hectare of vines on the steep, south-facing Prälat slope. Considered one of the warmest sites along the Mosel, Dr. Loosen never harvests anything less than Auslese from this vineyard. This wine is dense and concentrated, yet still vibrant and racy, displaying that wonderful combination of Mosel power and grace. Lusciously sweet with a spectrum of fruit from apple to nectarine to mango, with the added complexity of rich, spicy botrytis. Exceptional.
