An excellent vintage for the Rausch vineyard was heralded by the first taste of Zilliken's kabinett. Vibrant lemon and lime aromas here with marked slate and juicy Cox apple. The palate reveals good breadth, with well-defined fruit, firm with a steely note of acidity running throughout. Perceptibly drier than many of the kabinetts this vintage, on account of the lively acidity balancing the sweetness and ripeness of fruit. A simply stunning kabinett.
