2003 Maximin Grünhäuser Herrenberg Riesling Kabinett, Von Schubert, Ruwer
Many of the kabinetts show unusually ripe, broad fruit characters in this vintage; Herrenberg is no exception. Offering Cox apple and limy citrus fruit on the nose, this shows tauter, more defined fruit than in a normal vintage. Elements of slate and stone lend interest to a focused, well-poised kabinett that builds to a lengthy, positively zesty finish.
