A very structured 1996, showing the natural weight of fruit always sought by Bollinger, with a really lively freshness. These magnums are developing beautifully but in our opinion will benefit from a further 12 months in bottle to express the power and complexity of both the vintage and finely layered flavours. Undeniably fine and able to evolve over many years to come.
