N/V Solessence Extra Brut, Jean-Marc Sélèque
A blend of 50% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier, the grapes here are sourced from 7 different, celebrated villages: Pierry, Moussy, Épernay, Mardeuil, Dizy, Boursault, Vertus. This is arrow straight and complex, with just a little texture from 30% vinified in oak barrels, and some nutty, developed notes from 50% reserve wines. A wonderful introduction to Sélèque, that shows why his wines are so highly prized.
