Stone fruit on the nose with notes of citrus rind and aromatic freshness, this blend of 5 grape varieties, including 100 year old vines of Grenache Gris, Macabeo & Grenache Blanc (the latter are pre-phylloxera) is a real stunner. The palate is saline and beautifully weighted; minerality and fresh, zingy fruit mix all the way onto a long, energetic finish. For complexity and interest like this, it’s a steal.
