A hugely impressive and highly unusual cuvée comprising 100% Mourvèdre from 100-year-old pre-phylloxera vines. Packed with dark, dusky fruits, smoky blackberry and scented blueberry allied to Provençal herbs and with savoury nuances. What impresses most is the balance and the fine grip exerted by round, silken tannins. This is a brooding wine that shares little in common with other Costières.
