The Branchereau family bought a hectare of this gem of the Coteaux du Layon in 1997, and it's since been made a Grand Cru. Surely one of the great sweet wines of the Loire valley, this has notes of pineapple and mango, as well as spice and a beautiful floral character. Impressive, and deserving of time in the cellar.
