Evidently, Laurent uses only the best barrels for ageing his wines, and this attention really shows in his top cuvée. Very cool, pure fruit expression from the east-facing, high altitude vineyard of Eygats, with such serious intensity and texture, this is certainly a vintage that will certainly warrant some ageing.
