Cooler, high altitude vineyards seem to have worked best in 2013; fortunately for Domaine de la Boussière, these are their calling card. Their wines this vintage, made from 35% Syrah, are juicy, aromatic and spicy. With notes of violet, lavender and pure raspberry cordial fruit, they positively ooze finesse, the impression of which remains after the long, herb-infused finish has faded away.
