2007 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Elégance de Jeanne, Domaine Font de Michelle
Only 200 cases were produced of this new wine from Domaine Font de Michelle. It is made from very old (over 100 years old) vines from the La Crau lieu-dit. Comparitively light in colour, yet concentrated and intense. There are notes of morello cherry, loganberry and a touch of savoury spice, balanced by fine grained tannins and an elegant floral note on the finish. Lush and yet poised. Beautiful.
